First I was really excited to get this last book. The Donovan brothers are HOT and seeing their relationship progress has been awesome. However, this book was at least 100 pages shorter than the rest in kindle pages. It seemed rushed and wrapped up quickly. I literally finished in about an hour and half total... that includes my lunch break. (Sorry Amy!) I pre-ordered as soon as it was available.Next, each of the other books had a huge scene for the mating. This one was like... "No more waiting"... then they move to the next day.... WHAT??? She just wakes up and feels different.... well jeesh... thanks for all the detail.
The first three books were so awesome.. I was so looking forward to reading about the tall, dark, quiet Brody as we all know the quiet ones are AMAZING!!!
Good points... Alison is a very strong female character, love how she take charge and really impresses the other brothers.
Overall, yes I love the Donovans... but really felt it could have been better.

Great series and world building/ back story. Also a different take one shifters, in that the town and people are more hard-scrabble and real than the usual super-rich-powerful supernaturals. It sucked my right in from the get-go!
I read all for books in three days....stopping to do other things was annoying because I had to put the books down. I liked the characters, I liked the dialogue, I liked the action, I liked it all. I'm sad because I finished the series.
i loved the entire series and was waiting with baited breath for this last installment and found like the story was rushed i finished this book in less than my eight hours shift. i expected more twists and turns from broody's character with him being the alpha and more complex of all the brothers. all in all i loved the series but was a bit disappointed that this book was rush.it was the shortest of all the books
Thoroughly enjoyed this series. Each brother had things to discover about themselves and each other in each book, with a good female counterpart for them. The plots were good and books well written. They flowed so well and kept my interest I didn't want to stop when I had to go back to work. )
I fell in love with Shifter falls In the first book Rebel Wolf. Each story there after did not fail or disappoint. Brady's story was just as good. I loved his relationship with Alison and how strong of a female she was. I also loved seeing the developing relationship between the brothers and how they truly become a family and United pack. I'm hoping the author will visit shifter falls again I'm going to miss the characters and this unique place.
This last book is excellent. The alpha Brody is endearing as he works through personal issues while finding his mate and dealing with pack problems. The action keeps you interested. The best part of this series is that they feel real. Like you could actually meet one of these wolves. The sex scene are appropriate and tasteful. I recommend this series to any paranormal romance lover!
The reservations I had about book three were put to rest in book four. The story proceeded and concluded in a logical and satisfactory manner with all four Donovan brothers finding their happily ever afters. Brody, the alpha, is the spotlight of book four. As the alpha he is the one most responsible for derailing the hate campaign against shifters being waged by the politicians in the neighboring county. But Brody has secrets, more than his brothers know about. The only one who has noticed is Alison, who everyone but Brody knows has been in love with him for years. When Brody finally realizes that Alison notices more than he thought possible, he hires her as his assistant to help him navigate his duties as alpha. Once he does, their relationship escalates quickly.
As with all of the books in this series the characters stay true throughout. Their reactions and motivations just become more clear as more of their background is revealed. I liked the way that book four took the time to develop the relationship between Brody and Alison before diving into the action. It was a nice break from the nearly frenetic pace of book three. All in all the series ended on a satisfactory note.
